With our extensive database and numerous recruiting resources, we can understand, meet, and exceed our clients’ needs and expectations.
Why should I use your service instead of filling the position on my own?
Clark Personnel can meet the staffing needs for small emerging growth companies to Fortune 500 Corporations. Some of the benefits that we offer include increased flexibility, access to a larger workforce, reduced administrative concerns, and reduced costs. By using our temporary services or temporary-to-hire services, the risk is out of your hands. We handle workers’ compensation insurance, employment taxes and all governmental reporting associated with payroll. You try the employee at no risk and verify that they are a match to your organization.
What is a Working Interview?
Clark Personnel has three divisions: temporary, temporary-to-hire and direct hire. By combining services, we are able to offer a creative hybrid solution to your staffing needs. When you have an opening, we provide you with an employee who is looking for the right career move. You make your hiring decision after the individual has demonstrated satisfactory performance on the job.
How do you convert to permanent, or what if the employee does not fit?
If you make the choice to convert the employee, you simply take the employee onto your payroll after they have successfully completed 520 hours through Clark Personnel. If you would like the employee prior to that, you may pay an agreed upon buyout fee.
If the employee is not the right fit, Clark Personnel will reassign them and send you another qualified candidate.
What are the advantages of the Working Interview?
Positions are filled faster with a working interview, the preliminary interviewing process can be greatly shortened, or even eliminated. The candidate shows up and goes to work. Performance on the job is the hiring criteria.
The cost of the hire is amortized. All the usual up-front costs (advertising, interviewing and downtime in the position) are eliminated.
Mistakes are easily fixed. If a candidate is not the proper fit for your organization, we will immediately replace the candidate with another person.
You enjoy nonemployer status. During the tryout period, we are the employer. We take care of all payroll taxes, unemployment compensation, W-2′s, I-9′s, information returns, etc. We provide full insurance coverage including: workers’ compensation, general liability, excess liability, and errors and omissions.
You have no commitment. You are not committed to hiring a particular temporary or anyone at all.
You have maximum flexibility. The working interview is perfect for a company in a state of organizational change or uncertainty. You also can make sure you have the right person that fits your existing corporate culture.
How much does it cost my company?
The cost to you is less expensive than hiring them yourself. Our bill rates vary depending on the workers’ comp cost, recruiting effort needed, account volume and sense of urgency. Clark Personnel is committed to quality employees at competitive prices.
What is the process for using your service?
We first need a clear understanding of your needs. A Q&A session with the hiring or HR manager and a job description helps us get the details that we need to find the most qualified candidates. Then our recruitment effort can begin. A site visit by our Risk Manager and Staffing Coordinators helps get a solid understanding of the work to be performed and work environment. Then all we need is an approved credit application to send out the employee.
How long will it take to have an employee in our company?
We are committed to providing the most qualified employees to match the needs of our customers. Thus time frames will vary based on these needs. We can fill orders straight from our database without client interviews, as well as multiple candidates being interviewed by the customer.
