Our easy hiring process includes:
You may apply online or in person at our office. A Clark Personnel representative will review your application and inform you of any additional requirements at that time. Once all the requirements have been met and all the documentation has been received, if you meet our hiring criteria and demonstrate a strong work ethic, we may invite you in for an interview. However, if there is an immediate position for which you qualify, you may be interviewed at the time you submit your application.
Please bring the following information with you when coming into the office to apply:
- References from your past employers
- Copies of any certifications or licenses
- Any educational documents such as HS Diploma/GED, transcripts
- Two forms of identification
Testing is required of all candidates. You will complete one or more assessments, depending upon your skill set and interests.
When you come in for your appointment, a recruiter will interview you to assess your interests, experience, career goals and work preferences. During the interview, a review of your work history and assignments or positions will be discussed, as well as any current openings that may be right for you.
Once you are hired, you will complete the required federal and state tax forms (if they haven’t been completed already) and the I-9 form. Two forms of ID will be required – a picture ID: valid driver’s license, valid student ID, valid passport, or valid state ID. For your second ID: your original social security card and/or your original birth certificate. You will receive an orientation outlining the requirements of Clark Personnel as well as the company where you are assigned. At this time, we will review our payroll process and answer any additional questions you have.
5. Paperwork and Documents
Your file will be evaluated once more ensuring all paperwork has been completed.
6. Reference Checks / Criminal Background Check / Drug Screen
We will contact previous employers to verify dates of employment and work performance. We also conduct criminal background checks for disqualifying convictions and, in some cases, a motor vehicle report.
7. Timesheets and Payroll
Timesheets will be provided for your convenience and are designed to track the working hours for each employee on assignment. You will be paid weekly and have a choice of direct deposit or cash card. The quickest and most efficient method of receiving your pay is direct deposit. Contact your supervisor for any additional questions you may have concerning timesheets and payroll.
