Position: Maintenance Technician
Location: Montgomery, AL
Pay: $20 to $22/hour
Experience: 1 to 5 years of general building maintenance experience (carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, drywall, etc.).
Education: High School Diploma.
Type: Full-time; Contract
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Clark Personnel is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Perform general maintenance across multiple housing properties to keep facilities clean, safe, and fully operational.
- Complete resident service requests and close at least 90% of work orders within 48 hours.
- Conduct daily property walkthroughs to identify maintenance needs and remove debris.
- Execute make-ready services for vacant units, including painting, cleaning, and fixture replacement.
- Repair and finish drywall using measuring, cutting, hanging, taping, mudding, and sanding techniques.
- Install, repair, and troubleshoot appliances, plumbing, and electrical fixtures.
- Respond to emergency on-call maintenance needs during assigned on-call shifts.
Position Requirements:
- Valid Alabama driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Ability to perform repairs across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and drywall.
- Strong ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to follow organizational maintenance policies and safety standards.
